Terms of service
Effective and last updated July 26, 2026
These terms govern professional use of TriggerRank. By subscribing or using an account, you agree to them for yourself or the organization you represent.
1. Professional service
TriggerRank is offered for professional and commercial use by individuals and organizations. You confirm that you are at least 18 and, if you subscribe for an organization, that you have authority to bind it. TriggerRank is operated from Denmark.
2. What TriggerRank provides
TriggerRank collects public business signals, groups related records, adds evidence and confidence information, and ranks opportunities for further research. Coverage, sources, update frequency, and depth vary by market and state. We work to keep data useful and current, but do not guarantee that every record is complete, accurate, unique, or current.
Signals are starting points for business research, not definitive conclusions and not legal, financial, medical, compliance, or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying information before acting on it.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, protect login details, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts may not be shared outside the subscribing individual or organization, or beyond the access included in the selected plan.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Applicable taxes may be added. You authorize Stripe to charge the selected payment method for recurring fees. Price or plan changes will be communicated before they apply to a future billing period.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period, and no further renewal is charged. Payments are generally non-refundable and are not prorated, except for duplicate or incorrect charges, where required by law, or where we agree otherwise. The full policy is available on our Refunds & cancellation page.
6. Acceptable use
You may use TriggerRank for lawful professional research and outreach. You may not:
- resell, publish, scrape, copy, or redistribute the service or substantial parts of its data;
- bypass access controls, probe security, overload the service, or use unauthorized automation;
- use data for unlawful spam, deception, harassment, discrimination, or violation of privacy or marketing laws;
- use TriggerRank to decide eligibility for employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, or another high-impact service; or
- misrepresent a signal as verified fact when the underlying evidence does not support that claim.
You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your outreach, including consent, opt-out, telemarketing, email, and data-protection rules.
7. Ownership and feedback
TriggerRank and its software, scoring, design, and original content remain our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during an active subscription. Public source records remain subject to their original terms and applicable law. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without obligation or compensation.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, replace, add, or remove features and data sources. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, failures, source changes, or events outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, address non-payment, or enforce these terms. For a serious or repeated breach, we may terminate access. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, TriggerRank is provided “as is” and “as available.” We exclude implied warranties that can legally be excluded. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business opportunity. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees you paid TriggerRank during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Danish law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of Denmark, while any mandatory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected. Contact [email protected] with questions. We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated when appropriate, and continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply.
