Validated preview

New carriers.
Ranked weekly.

TriggerRank turns new USDOT registrations and regulatory filings into a ranked feed for teams that sell to trucking companies.

🧩 The problem

Raw data takes time.
Timing creates value.

FMCSA publishes thousands of records across separate datasets. A seller still has to decide which carriers are relevant, how far each has progressed, and who is worth contacting first.

  1. 01Disconnected records

USDOT, authority, insurance, BOC-3, and suspension events live in separate official feeds.

  2. 02Manual qualification

Raw registrations include irrelevant fleets, weak fits, and records that are not ready for outreach.

  3. 03Missed timing

By the time each record is researched by hand, the strongest opening signal may already be old.

📡 Validated pilot

2,522 opportunities.
Not a raw download.

Every number below comes from the completed production pilot covering July 13–26, 2026. Weak and irrelevant records were retained for audit, but not delivered as opportunities.

5,992active source records reviewed
2,522delivery-ready opportunities
1,458held back for more review
2,012irrelevant records excluded
🕐 Regulatory timing

One feed. Clear stages.

49 states produced at least one ranked opportunity in this test window. A zero-result state remains covered; it is not filled with weaker records.

  1. Authority pending1,529

Operating-authority activity is underway, but not yet active.

  2. New USDOT only752

A fresh active registration without a later regulatory filing yet.

  3. Insurance filed238

A current insurance filing adds a stronger readiness signal.

  4. BOC-3 filed2

A process-agent filing is present without another later stage.

  5. Suspension review1

A recent suspension signal is separated for careful review.

Official filing-contact coverage among ranked opportunities: 100% phone and 99.7% email. These are labeled as filing contacts, not claimed as website-verified contacts.

🏛️ Official sources

Five FMCSA feeds.
One ranked view.

The pipeline reads free nationwide public records, preserves the source evidence, and publishes only after coverage and database checks pass.

DAILY

Company Census

New active USDOT registrations, fleet size, geography, officers, and official filing contacts.

DAILY

Authority history

Pending and active operating-authority events, kept separate from the USDOT registration itself.

DAILY

Insurance filings

Public filing events that show a carrier moving further through the activation process.

DAILY

BOC-3 filings

Process-agent filings used as a timing signal, without publishing agent addresses.

DAILY

Suspensions

Recent suspension and revocation activity, isolated so it is never presented as a clean sales trigger.

📦 What customers receive

Ready to filter.
Ready to use.

The feed is built for smaller B2B teams that need a timely outreach list, not another nationwide directory to clean themselves.

Questions

What the feed means.
And what it does not.

Are these newly formed companies?

They are newly added active USDOT registrations from the measured period. That is a strong timing event, but it is not presented as the legal formation date of the company.

Does an active USDOT mean operating authority is active?

No. TriggerRank shows USDOT registration and operating-authority stages separately, then adds insurance and BOC-3 events when they exist.

Are the contacts verified on company websites?

No. They are official public filing contacts supplied to FMCSA. The product labels them accurately instead of presenting them as independently website-verified.

Does the feed cover all 50 states?

The FMCSA sources are nationwide. In the two-week pilot, 49 states produced at least one ranked opportunity; Vermont produced none in that window and was not padded with weaker records.

Why not deliver every new USDOT registration?

Because raw registrations include non-core fleets and weak buyer fit. TriggerRank excludes obvious mismatches, holds uncertain records for review, and ranks only the usable opportunities.
