Three public sources sit behind every Illinois opportunity. Each is listed with what it proves and where it stops, because a rank is only worth as much as the record underneath it.

  1. CMS NPPES

    New and updated organization records, with the responsible people the Illinois licence API is then queried for.

    An NPI is not proof of a newly formed company, and Illinois company formation is not automated, so nothing here is called new.

  2. Illinois IDFPR

    FREE API

    Active counselling, social-work, clinical-psychology and marriage-and-family licences, in one batched request per week.

    Only licence facts plus city, state and ZIP are stored. No street address and no email is requested.

  3. Public web

    ON MATCH

    First-party sites and public contacts for the leads the licence data leaves unresolved.

    A missing website is expected for a very new practice and is never counted against it.

Last full Illinois source audit, 23 July 2026: 20 candidates and one batched licence request returning 17 active licences across 12 organizations. The state's bulk company files answer HTTP 403 to every machine and its search prohibits automation, so company formation is recorded as not automated rather than guessed.
